Reverend Dr. J. Emmette Weir, is a former student of Government High School. Throughout his professional life as a minister and as a teacher, he has published a number of interesting books intended to inspire critical thinking and to enrich the lives of his readers. Dr. Weir has experienced the dire and urgent need for Bahamians to become more knowledgeable about their past history and especially to be better informed about persons who have contributed positively to the development of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
